Cathleen Hedgecock
Graduated from Montreat College with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018. She holds licenses as a clinical mental health counselor and a clinical addiction specialist. Additionally, she is certified in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for treating personality disorders and has received training in Autplay therapy and various trauma-focused therapies, including Cognitive Processing Therapy.
With seven years of clinical experience, Cathleen has expertise in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and several other mental health conditions. She is dedicated to helping individuals recognize their strengths and fostering the belief that there is always hope.
Judith Chappell
With more than 25 years of experience in the counseling field, Judith Chappell is a dedicated mental health and substance use therapist here at Clearer Minds Counseling and Consulting. Now semi-retired, Judith brings a wealth of expertise and a compassionate, faith-based approach to her practice, providing a safe space for adults to navigate life’s complexities and achieve lasting well-being
Judith specializes in treating trauma and co-occurring conditions in adults using evidence-based modalities, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): To identify and shift negative thought patterns.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): To build skills in emotional regulation and mindfulness
